You’ll get there too

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Lau Tzu

One step at a time, just one single step each day. Hurry empties the soul never underestimate the season of preparation. You'll get there too. A lot of things can change in the next few years, your circumstance today doesn't mirror your tomorrows. As long as you're persevering, you'll get there too.

We frequently dismiss the here and now, the ordinary days and difficult seasons, as though life is already over. However, the difficult times we all experience serve to better prepare us for the wonderful things that lie ahead. Even the great people God uses in the past, even in our generation today, in business, in creatives, in music, and in different fields. All of them take that one step forward each day.

Sometimes we are fixated with the results but not doing the hard work, big dreams face difficulties and require perseverance, dedication, and passion. I just mesmerized when I read the speech of the founder of Jollibee, Tony Tan. He said, "The very reason we included the word Jolly in the name of our brand and company name is that working hard and achievements are simply not worth it if you are not happy with and do not love what you are doing. Even amidst any negativity or pessimism – never get discouraged and always have the heart of an entrepreneur who often sees all blue oceans in terms of opportunities and blue skies in terms of potential and outlook no matter how seemingly difficult the environment or situation."

Successful people do what they love and love what they do. I think it takes courage and risks to pursue what your soul mumbles even no one is believing in you yet, it takes hard work and commitment. Steve Jobs once said. "For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: ‘If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?’ And whenever the answer has been ‘No’ for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.” Thus love is just so powerful!

And I realized I would still write if today is the last day of my life. So let's pursue the dusty dreams that He planted deep into our hearts, one day at a time, one step each day, until we'll get there.

10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.
