In multitudes we find comfort in being connected, in abundance, we find fullness and joy, in success, we find meaning and purpose and in emptiness, we find failings and breakings. Surely, it's painful but there is so much healing in stillness, a breakthrough in a quiet and lonely place when no one is watching, only you and God. In the wilderness, a barren and desolate place, we can find beauty and solace in being honest with ourselves and just pouring out our hearts to God.

There's hidden treasure in your hidden years in the wilderness, it isn't about the possessions, achievements, or titles that you obtained, it's more than that. No amount of money could pay for that- it's an unshakable identity, the person you're becoming during the tough times of your life, it's just you and the Lord. How intimate is that!

When no one recognizes us, no one celebrates with us, no one applauds us, and no one sees us- God still notices every lil' thing we're doing, seen or unseen in the eyes of many. How comforting it is to know that there's Someone greater than anyone else who is pleased even in our hidden days when we choose to draw closer to Him.

May you testify that there are still men and women in this generation who still desire a genuine commitment and Christ-centered relationship.

Settling for less is just following our heart's desire, our own schedules, our pleasures - our selfish desires. After all the Lord knows who we need in our life. Let's walk in obedience, by His grace, and for His glory!

While others seem right in your eyes,
the right one is right for your soul
and gentle to your being.
