You never lose waiting upon God

Don't live outside the will of God, it is to live outside the blessing of God.- Charles Stanley

If you wait on God, you will never lose. You will never go wrong waiting, trusting, and obeying God. Patience is the gift of God, the capacity to make wise decisions. He gives us the Spirit to counsel us and to have the right discernment. He wants the best for His children and patience is necessary to experience His best. Impatience never cures anything.

Give me the grace to wait until you give me permission to have or go.

Have you prayed this prayer?

The fruit of the spirit is patience, willing to wait long when necessary. It takes courage to be a patient person. Living in this fast-paced society, we get caught up in getting the things we like as easily as possible and at times I found myself in that space too.

Like, you're already close to your answered prayer and you want to get ahead to God. This quiet season of mine changes my perspectives on how God works. I thought I know everything I wanted in life. I thought it was all about making plans and achieving your goals at the time you want to be. Too caught up about many things hence as a believer and a child of God, at times He will really redirect us to the most important thing which is to know Him more and do everything for His glory. He removes something that we thought was more necessary so we can shift our focus on Him again.

When we wait upon God, He will give us peace that surpasses understanding even if we can't figure it out yet, He will provide the things we need, the wisdom in making decisions, and He will lead us even if it feels like we're in the maze, unable to trace the line.

God loves us so much and He wants the best for us. He knows our weaknesses and desires, He knows the right time because He holds it. He holds the future and surely, it would be better than we think when we choose to wait upon Him. He has better plans when He says NO and NOT NOW. There might be new things and new discoveries He wants us to fulfill, new people to meet, and new dreams to build even if we really can't figure out why God wants us to do them. Surely, we should live by faith and not by sight. He will enable us and strengthen us because He promised the Spirit to be with us all the time. He's not late nor early, He is always on time.

He's a perfect God and surely He works perfectly. Seeking Him while waiting will fuel us to be patient enough and to trust His ways for us even though sometimes we don't understand.

For still the vision awaits it's appointed time; it hastens to the end. It will not lie. It seems slow, wait for it, it will surely come; it will not delay.

Habakkuk 2:3-4

The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.

Lamentations 3:25

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you.

Matthew 6:33

Remember not the former things nor consider the things of old. Behold I am doing a new thing now its springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43: 18-19

Hence, if you don't have a relationship with Jesus, you won't have the strength and patience to wait upon the Lord. God loves you so much and He sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross for your sins so you can receive eternal life. No one deserves it but because He's so loving, He calls us worthy through Jesus Christ. When you accept Jesus as your Savior and ask the forgiveness of your sins and surrender your life to Him, He will give you a new life- a life with purpose and meaning, a life with peace despite any suffering and uncertainty, a new life with Him. Life is fleeting, tomorrow is not promised, and all is vanity if you don't live for Christ.

He will give you a new identity and a life with purpose and meaning. He will renew you and strengthen you in whatever life's struggles you will face. God is always there for you. Seek Him and you will find Him. There will be no condemnation if you live your life with Jesus despite any sins you have done. He can always clean and purify your heart. You have a new life in Jesus.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus form the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:1

For I am sure that neither death not life, nor angels, nor rules, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him form the dead you will be saved.

Romans 10:9

So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.

Romans 14:12
