Reminders

May you never forget that you matter.
When no one is showing up for you,
keep showing up for yourself.

When no one understands you,
Just be patient!
Maybe they are having a hard time too.

If you're hurt in small things
and others invalidate what you feel.
Remind yourself that not all feelings are reliable, seek truth!

Listen to your beats,
when you get tired and confused.
You're allowed to rest and pause.
When it's already hard to understand yourself
nor the other people around.
Never forget He's there for you
the One who holds your heart.

When it seems that you're all alone
and no one comes for you.
Never forget He's with you all along.

Deep inside

It is unsafe to have your heart unguarded and think you still have a safe haven. It is unsafe to once again open up yourself to relationships that have gotten you hurt in the past without learning and applying lessons from mistakes learned through it. It is unsafe, most of all, to let your emotions take over your sensibilities. As Proverbs 6:27 says, "Can a man carry fire next to his chest and his clothes not be burned?"

Stepping out in Faith

Inhaling His grace and savoring the beauty of life. And I pray that my journals will transcend into the spaces that need them the most.
