HE leads even if you’re in the wilderness

It's the little things they lack forget the great things that God has done in their lives. But God is so loving and caring, as He leads the Israelites, He provides everything.

After the Israelites crossed the Red sea, they started to grumble to Moses and Aaron in the wilderness.

The people of Israel said to them, "Would that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the meat pots and ate bread to the full, for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger."

Then the Lord said to Moises, "Behold I am about to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not.

Exodus 16:6 3-4

It seems the Israelites forget who God is, and the miracles that HE performed before when they became free from slavery. The plagues, the pillars of cloud and fire, and the crossing in the Red Sea. It's the little things they lack forget the great things that God has done in their lives. But God is so loving and caring, as He leads the Israelites, He provides everything.

Bread from Heaven

The people of Israel ate the manna for forty years, till they came to a habitable land. They ate the manna till they came to the border of the land of Canaan.

Exodus 16:35-36

For forty years, they have had bread from heaven! Imagine that, they were in the wilderness but still, God shows up and provided everything they need so they would learn to trust Him fully.

Are you lacking something? Have you found yourself dwelling in a place of emptiness or are you in the midst of the wilderness unable to see provisions and hopes? Why not look back from the beginning and see what God has done in your life, do you think is there something He can't do? Is He asking you to do something uncertain? And you're so afraid to take the leap of faith because you can't figure it out yet, why not just let God leads you to the place He wants you to be so He can mold you into the person you should be and use your life for His glory alone. It's scary, right? But God is so faithful and loving, He will lead you, He is sufficient for you.

I remember before I resigned from my work, the last year was so heavy. I was asking God if that is the place for me, I don't have the strength to face another day so I quit. I quit even if I know it would be more uncertain. I quit instead of doing the same things over and over again and lost my fervent desire in teaching. I quit because it doesn't satisfy my soul anymore. I was just too tired and I was in a quarter-life crisis, I felt so lost and meaningless. I loved teaching and my students but I just felt empty so I quit.

I know God will still lead me even if I go through the wilderness and wander in the intricate pattern of life.

I'm glad I quit because I didn't rely now on myself, on my strength, and let Him lead me all the way. And the most beautiful thing in the wilderness is you will see a million miracles each day. God provides my daily bread. God birthed new dreams and visions in my life. God provides the strength and lifts me when my feet are trembling to continue. God reminds me of His strength when I remember my weaknesses. God shows His way whenever there are barriers and stumbling blocks. I realized God can use everything in our lives even it's our pain, failures, and weaknesses for His glory.

I am still amazed because this season made me realize that He could also use my write-ups for His glory, my TikTok journal has reached 200, 000 views! I mean, 200 000 souls? It's His work, this wilderness is meant for nothing. And I'm still in the maze right now, discovering new things every day, embracing my unique season, and shutting the noise around. Letting Him lead me to the place where He can use me fully.

Sometimes, we don't need to understand before we trust Him. He will make a way even in the wilderness.

I am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King." Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea, a paht in the mighty waters, who brings fort chariot and horse, army and warrior; they lie down, they cannot rise, they are extinguised, quenched like a wick: Remember not the former things nor consider the things old. Behold Iam doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:15-19

God can use you in any season if you let Him and if you have a personal relationship with Jesus. God loves you so much and sent His son Jesus Christ to die for your sins so you will receive eternal life. There will be no condemnation in Jesus. Let Him guide you, asks for the forgiveness of your sins, have faith in Him and trust Him, surrender your life to Him, and accept Him as your Savior. He will give you a new life- a purposeful and meaningful life so that even if you go through the valley of death, wilderness, and any difficulties, you will still be victorious in Him. You were made for His glory alone. You have a purpose in this world, you're not an accident. You are loved and worthy to take up space in this world.

so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Hebrews 9:28

looking to Jesus the founder and the perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
