When God ran

He ran to me,
He took me in His arms,
Held my head to His chest,
Said "My son's come home again!"
Lifted my face,
Wiped the tears from my eyes,
With forgiveness in His voice He said
"Son, do you know I still love You?"

Phillips, Craig & Dean

This song wrapped me when I was lost. I often heard it before, but during the time that I felt meaningless, I understood each line, and I suddenly digested the rhythm and melody of it as if God was telling me those things. Then I wrote here, "When God loves, He does." I finally understood that we can't comprehend and fathom His love for us because He loves us even when we're not at the peak of our success, even when we are lost and confuse, and even in our mess. He never changes His outlook on us and I was so foolish to think that He left me during those days. God never leaves His children hanging, empty, and broken.

And I remember the "Brave kid" inside me who completely trusts Jesus in her life. Have you ever read that journal prompt? I won't forget those memories. He saved me then, though it was so impossible to happen, but I know in my heart that I met God. He never left me during those days and He always prove it. God is real, God is loving, and God is so gracious. God is our Father. He is holy, powerful, just, and kind. He knows everything, He knows the future. And as I grow older, I realized I never know Him completely and my days are not enough to know Him fully. I can't comprehend each detail He is doing in my life. He is beyond anything and He always amazes me each day. And you know what if you will just understand how loving He is? Surely, your life will never be the same. Each day you will see miracle, grace, and hope, even at times your circumstances don't make sense.

When you understand the sacrificial love of Christ, the story at the cross, you will break down not in grief but with joy in your heart because "God loved the world , He gave his only Son that so whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believed is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. ( John 3:16-18)

Imagine He already gave His precious Son for us to have a relationship with Him, an unbreakable covenant. What else He can't do? What else? So when you feel out of the track, God is saying to you, "My child, I still love you, I will run to you if you cannot walk anymore, I will save you again, I will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust me. I will wipe all the tears and give you joy, peace, and hope. I still love you and I always do."

I will never leave you or abandon you.

Hebrews 13:5

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will not also with him graciously give us all things?

Romans 7:31

For I am sure that neither death or lfe, nor angels, nor rules, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of GOD in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38
