Inhaling His grace

You were wrapped with torn strips of cloth
laid in a feeding trough for animals
Because there was no place for you in the inn.
And the shepherds keeping watched over their flock by night
saw the glory of the Lord shone around them
and they were greatly afraid
couldn't stand the gloriousness of the night
and heard the great news-

“Do not be afraid, for behold,
I bring you good tidings of great joy
which will be to all people.
For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior,
who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you:
You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of
the heavenly host praising God and saying:

“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

And the shepherds came and saw you face to face
like a typical infant in a swaddled cloth
the first to see the Lamb of God
who takes away the sin of the world.
They were marveled and couldn't keep the news by themselves
they were in haste to share and to spread
what they've seen and heard;
they witnessed around their space
running, praising, and glorifying God.

Just like Mary, I pondered at your birth.
You were a gift that I didn't even deserved.
You came small in a glorious night
The King of kings and Lord of lords!
In the sanctuary, in the vaulting cathedral of my soul
in my notes your love burning like a fire deep within me.

And the manger leads me to the cross
From swaddling cloth to a linen shroud
From Bethlehem to Jerusalem
From praises to scorns
From shepherds to soldiers
From rejoicing to weeping

And the cross leads me to an empty tomb
wiping my tears, my pain, and my hurts.
Whispering, "I died for you so you can live for me.
I am crucified but now a resurrected King!
And I'm always here waiting for you to come
and enjoy my gift of life."

Amazing Grace...

Now, in silent night:
in silent whispers
silent battles, fears, and worries.

God comes!
Grace upon grace!
God is with us!
Emmanuel has come!
Hope has a name and His name is Jesus!
Joy has a name and His name is Jesus!

I am living because I am inhaling His grace.
Not I but through Christ in me.
You saved my soul and I am forever saved!
Until I come home!

Praise the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit!
