Can you faithfully wait?

I know how much you desire to be pursued,
I know how much you want to be loved,
I know how much you like to meet him.
But please can you faithfully wait?

I know you've been including,
uttering this in your prayers,
longing and desiring to be an answered prayer.
But please can you prayerfully wait?

Don't take advantage of your youth,
Your vulnerability, strength, and beauty.
You are fearless to do everything
but please take control of your emotions.

Guard your heart and know your limitations,
It's alright to delay all self-gratifications,
Control your desires and wants
And walks towards purity.

You are already loved and pursued
In His hands and His arms
You are greatly appreciated.
So you can gracefully bloom in your season.

Hidden years

When no one recognizes us, no one celebrates with us, no one applauds us, and no one sees us- God still notices every lil’ thing we’re doing, seen or unseen in the eyes of many. How comforting it is to know that there’s Someone greater than anyone else who is pleased even in our hidden days when we choose to draw closer to Him.
