Can this be love?

 

Love can wait, lust must have it now. 
Love is selfless, lust is selfish. 
Love is giving; lust is taking. 


Love is patient; lust is impatient. 
Love is meek; lust is arrogant. 
Love is manageable; lust is impulsive. 

Love develops;  lust destroys. 
Love is peaceful; lust is anxious. 
Love serves; lust says- this is what I deserve. 
Love rejoices with the truth; lust rejoices in wrong doings. 

Love is secure; lust is insecure. 
Love liberates; lust imprisons. 
Love forgives; lust condemns. 
Love is purity; lust is sin. 
Love is of God; lust is from the world. 


And let's never forget if we don't ever want to suffer, we must be very careful never to love anything or anybody. The gifts of love have been the gifts of suffering. Those two things are inseparable. Elisabeth Elliot

Deep inside

It is unsafe to have your heart unguarded and think you still have a safe haven. It is unsafe to once again open up yourself to relationships that have gotten you hurt in the past without learning and applying lessons from mistakes learned through it. It is unsafe, most of all, to let your emotions take over your sensibilities. As Proverbs 6:27 says, "Can a man carry fire next to his chest and his clothes not be burned?"

When will be my turn?

Trust Him, His grace is enough. You are not hidden, you are seen, forgiven not condemned, valued and cherished not blemished, redeemed and honored not overlooked, pursued and loved by the lovers of souls, covered by His blood and healed in Jesus Name.

hard seasons

Perhaps your path is harder because your calling is higher. Perhaps you need to be familiarize with pain and hardships so you'll appreciate happiness and success better. One day you'll be glad not because you're capable of doing it on your own but because His grace strengthen you and carries you every time you can't walk through life anymore. As long as you're living you are still winning.
