a wise woman

She is gentle and quiet in spirit. She fears the Lord and takes responsibility for her behavior, accepts wisdom, not easily flattered and not self-centered. She is sensible and teachable. She cares more about what God thinks of her more than men's opinions. She can see the difference between a wise man and a foolish one, she is not a market for a fool. She dresses to be attractive and not seductive.

She knows how to guard and keep her heart when a nice guy comes who knows how to play cards. She is not impressed with tiny little things, she knows very well what a godly man is— someone who fears the Lord and walks what he preaches. She knows that if she pursues God with wisdom, He will bring a wise man at the right time.

She has a deferring beauty not a grasping one. She listens to godly counsel and accepts rebuke from other people. She is diligent and passionate toward her goals in life. She doesn't blame anyone instead she prays for them. She forgives and doesn't keep records of wrongs.

She is joyful in her current season, not easily pressured by the people around her because she knows her purpose— to love the LORD in all the days of her life, and to love others just like Christ love her.

Sacred space

In multitudes we find comfort in being connected, in abundance, we find fullness and joy, in success, we find meaning and purpose and in emptiness, we find failings and breakings. Surely, it's painful but there is so much healing in stillness, a breakthrough in a quiet and lonely place when no one is watching, only you and God. In the wilderness, a barren and desolate place, we can find beauty and solace in being honest with ourselves and just pouring out our hearts to God.
