Quiet Walks in Quiet Season

There's beauty in each season. There's a time for every matter under heaven. You're not running out of time. You're not missing out on something. You're not left behind. You're not alone. You're figuring out your season.

I hope you learn to dance along with life's difficulties in your season. I hope you learn to let go of those burdens that withhold your peace. I hope you discern the right path even if it's an unfamiliar space. I hope you can still rejoice in the LORD with so much hope. I hope you can still stand firm on HIS words with so much love. I hope you can still pursue the right thing with so much faith.

In this season,  I've realized it's okay to outgrow perspectives, dreams, places, and people. It's okay not to fill the gaps, not to find answers, not to be extraordinary, not to fit in, and not to be in control. And I've realized GOD is all I need and I am living because of HIS grace.

I wake up early at dawn and rush for a walk. I sit on a bench at the lake and brush my feet on the grass while the wind swift slowly, tall trees surround me while the sun's rays penetrate my face. How can I afford this view?

I am left amused and delighted with His glory. I've realized my worried heart has nothing to do with His greatness. I've realized God is doing something even during this quiet season of my life. He's teaching me to lean on Him and rest on His unfailing love. He's not a human who thinks like humans. He's GOD who is beyond comprehensible. And I am at peace knowing I'm safe in His hands.

I always need to go into His presence to see the truth.

God does not withhold good things from us. God will never waste our quiet season. It may be hard but He strengthens our souls, He's teaching us lessons that will take us to a higher level. Everything He is doing is for our own good. He's testing our character. He's purifying our hearts so He can use us for every good work.

When the time is right, we will see the fruits of our prayers.  When the time is right, we will find answers to our questions. When the time is right,  we will harvest fruits in our good works.

But in this time, we need to be faithful and hopeful even in our quiet season.  Take heart beloved!

Quiet Walks

I am weird. I love quiet walks. I love the tranquility and solemnity of being alone. I like to roam my eyes and let my feet absorb the noise around me. I always crave slow days even in mundane or peculiar places. A day with rain and coffee, nor a night with the stars and […]
