hopes

One day, you will wake up and you will see a beautiful picture of yourself; rejoicing instead of lamenting, celebrating instead of weeping, venturing instead of remaining, loving instead of hating, and forgiving instead of condemning. And I hope you'll be reminded that one day won't come anymore, no one has a reserved ticket for tomorrow. No one knows what the future holds so may you have the courage today.

May you see a beautiful picture of yourself today. Stand up, get up, and look above. You are capable beloved. I hope and pray wherever and whoever you are, who feels like surviving in deep pit of emptiness, I assure you there's always hope and light if you choose to believe. You are not meant to stay in that pit forever, help yourself and get up, jump, and do something, give yourself a favor.

Beloved, trust the Author and Giver of Life, you are here for something more. He fills up your lungs so you can breathe, so your heart can still beat even in the loud sounds of suffering creeping into your head and trying to beat up your hopes and faith. Beloved, listen to the One who created you and embraced the intricate pattern of your soul. Choose to believe!

You are not your feelings. God sees you. God knows you very well. He can give rebirth to your dying hopes. He can provide doorways to the dead ends. His goodness is overflowing and His love is unimaginable. You're just in a season. Perhaps you're not struggling instead you are going through a molting and molding process, you're just growing. So choose to grow in faith.
You are an overcomer.

We all have scars, and by them we remember the hard times we've endured. So much hard and so much pain. But God healed us! He was good to us. He grew new cells and new skin and new life out of the hard, wounded places, and one day we look back at the scar and we gasp. We think of how deep and vast our pain was, and we can hardly believe what God has made it.

Discovering the blessing
