To: My Future Love

DAY 128/365

I pray to meet you when the time is right for both of us.

Hi! I don’t know why my heart desires to write this letter to you, but there’s nothing wrong with this right? Right now, I’m in the season of waiting, growing, seeking, and nourishing. Hence, time like this comes when waiting seems longer.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not totally into you! (-_-)

I’m weird, clumsy, and cute. CHAR XD! HAHAHA

I like walking alone, it removes all the tension in my heart when pressures kick in and I hope, you’ll be walking with me. But don’t worry, I am at peace and joyfully doing what ignites my soul. I do have a community who supports me in my faith walk and in this season of waiting.

When the right time comes, let’s go to the libraries or bookstores. I love the aroma of the pages of the book. I prefer books, pens, and highlighters more than dresses and shoes. I also like gazing at the trees, mountains, and highways. How about you, I would like to know also the things that fascinate you.

When the right time comes, let’s go to the coffee shop. Coffee dates make me shiver. Small talks and deep conversations might remove our walls. We can spend longer already, please share your best moments with the Lord and your hardest cries to him, your struggles, failures, scars, and wins. I love anecdotes too and I think I’m a good listener.

Museums fascinate me as always, the same way when I look into the clouds. The clouds always assure me that both of us are under the same sky, both of us are watching the sunrise and sunset, and both of us are gazing at the moon and stars at night. Maybe, we’re in different seasons but still inhaling the same Grace.

I pray you’re doing the things that you love, you’re honoring your season.

I’m praying to have more patience in waiting.  I wanted to be pursued the way my Father wants me to be, more honoring, loving, and calming. And right now, I know that there are still men who are faithful and know their responsibilities, and I believe you’re one of them.

I pray that we can honor this season of waiting and longing. Let’s wait for His best plans, do our purpose, glorify His name in our own little ways, and be a testament to His goodness. And when the right time comes, I do believe He will make a way.

But right now, let’s wait faithfully and joyfully to show our obedience to God. He is faithful and He doesn’t withhold blessings. Maybe right now He’s teaching us patience, perseverance, and kindness so we can walk in faith and not by our own strength. He’s molding us into the person He wants us to be so when we meet we can fully love and serve each other despite each difference and scars.

And when the right time comes, we can do many things together, and most importantly we can already serve God and worship Him together,  I sincerely pray for you since then and I know He answers prayer at the right time. But for now, let’s be faithful and fruitful in our season.

Let's pray while we wait until these prayers connect us.

Until we meet…

By the way, have we ever met?

I pray this letter will reach you.

Calmness

Life is hard, may you always see the beauty in it. There are many distractions around, may you always search for calmness, a quiet time to sit in silence, and just be grateful for all the underrated privileges you have, those things unseen weigh the most.

To all the men who choose to wait,

When you feel worthless and meaningless, may you'll be reminded that God created you for a purpose and for His glory. When you feel blue and anxious about tomorrow get rid of it, one day at a time. You don't need to have all the answers. When you feel alone, discouraged about your career, or […]

Sayang

Sayang ang pagtingin, kung di sasambitin. Sana'y dumating ang tamang panahon, na 'di mo na kailangan pang pigilan ang damdamin at mga saloobin na namumutawi sa ilalim ng iyong mga mata. Stepping out in Faith

Inhaling His grace and savoring the beauty of life. And I pray that my journals will transcend into the spaces that need them the most.
