Take heart!

Not all women look for tall, dark, handsome, famous, and rich men. Not all women desire fancy dates and expensive gifts. Not all women measure you for your titles, cars, degree, and business. Not all women need knights in shining armor. Not all women desire skillful, talented, and intelligent men instead they are praying for discerning, faithful, committed servants of Christ.

You don’t need to write long letters full of highfalutin words simply pour out your heart’s desires sincerely and genuinely. May you have the courage to utter all the words you’ve been keeping instead of using different platforms to provide clues and hints for what you feel. You don’t need to play mind games to test her nor rely on the stars and the moon above, waiting for a sign if truly she’s the one. You might hurt her unintentionally so better speak out from your heart. You don’t need to memorize a line from her favorite song or quote scriptures, it’s okay if you stutter.

Don’t stir up her emotions if you’re half-hearted, be where your feet are. It’s okay until you muster all the courage, and take your time. May you break your cage and pursue the right way and the right person that God prepares for you. Pray, it works, until you discern she’s already the right person. Do it and commit your ways and plans to the Lord. Seek Him first, incline your heart in His word instead of your feelings. Be like David, a man after God’s own heart. Be like Boaz, unafraid of all commitments. Be like Joseph, who flees from temptations. Be like Jacob, who waits for the one he truly loves. Be like Jesus, who loves, values, and respects women. Be a testament to His grace.

Take heart! You’ll make it.
