I know something is bothering you right now. You can’t contain those feelings in your chest.
You’re hurt.
And now you don’t know the cause of it but the effects are really sinking down in your body. You feel you’re not beautiful and you feel you’re not worthy to be loved.
You’re fervent desire to love others willingly and abundantly has been corrupt because hate suddenly resides. You wanted to be selfish for a moment, forget others and walk alone on your chosen road.
Anxieties are creeping down into your soul.
You heard, many voices telling you to stop beating for Him.
“Stop obeying!”
“Stop reading His words!”
“Stop praying!”
“He won’t answer you nor listen to you!”
“People around you will fool you with their selfish ambitions!”
“You will be hurt if you keep on obeying Him!”
And all these lies filled all the spaces in your heart.
Yes, following the Lord will not make us exempted from hurt, rejection, disappointment, and discouragement. As you go through His presence the world entices you to go back from the lust for worldly pleasures that it offers.
But heart, why are you still beating?
It may hurt you at some point but the Lord renews us every day. He is Love, if you ask Him to pour down His love it will overflow. He is gracious. He’s never been selfish with love.
Don’t seek love in the eyes of men. You’re more than that. The Lord makes you beautiful enough to radiate His gloriousness.
I think it’s time to remove the anxieties between the spaces of your heart that slowing you down from His perfect love.
Whatever fears and anxieties that rhyming with your beats, it won’t produce any good melody and harmony.
You deserve His perfect love and it will never hurt you or harm you because He is love.
1 John 4:18 says,
” There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”
1 John 4:8-10
” Whoever does not love, does not know God because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us. He sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might live through Him. This is loved not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent His son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”
So would you still cover your heart with hate? Now that you know that His perfect love drives out our fear. Even sending His own son for us to have life in Him.
Continue beating just for Him!
Lovingly yours,
The other half.
